English actress Rona grew up in London with older brother Jason and younger brother Guyan, who's travel writer for Lonely Planet and The Sunday Times. Her father is cosmetic surgeon Anthon Mitra and her mother is the Irish Nora Downey. She was eight years old when her parents divorced in 1984. She went to the boarding and the Roedean school, but was eventually expelled from both.
